Thule, Greenland Service

Schuyler Line Navigation Company, LLC (SLNC)  supports the United States Air Force Base in Greenland with regular service from Denmark from July to early September.  Schuyler Line will provide service from Federicia, Denmark to Thule, Greenland while the port is open.

Thule Air Base is the United States Air Force’s northernmost base, located roughly 1500 km from the North Pole and more than 1200 km north of the Arctic Circle.  Thule is a critical USAF base and cargo delivered to the port will include supplies to support Space Command, the United States Army Corps of Engineers as well as contractors on base.

In 2016, Schuyler Line performed the annual Thule Air Base resupply mission, Operation Pacer Goose, in conjunction with Military Sealift Command.  The voyage brought critical supplies from Norfolk, VA to Thule, Greenland.  To read more about this mission or to watch our timelapse of the voyage, click here.
